Day 5

"Charity is accepting someone's differences, weaknesses, and shortcomings; having patience with someone who has let us down; or resisting the impulse to become offended when someone doesn't handle something the way we might have hoped. Charity is refusing to take advantage of another's weakness and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us.
Charity is expecting the best of each other."

- Marvin J. Ashton

This kind of love is the hardest.
But it is also the most important.
I'm still trying to infuse it into my life.
Every.
Single.
Day.

Amen sister. That's something we all need to work on Loving people inspite of themselves and whatever stupid choices they make. It is hard.

such a wonderful quote mandy, and an important thing to be reminded of every single day.

ps. i loved the "falling in love with the idea of love" post several days ago. wow. you stole the words right out of my own mouth. i knew exactly what you were talking about.

thanks for doing this, it gets me excited to read about all these different types of love you have. such a great idea.
