Mockingjay

Kevin read and I re-read the Hunger Games series on our Honeymoon. Sometimes we would read all afternoon and realize that we had missed lunch.

I decided to brush up on my archery skills.
It might surprise you that I am a regular Katniss. Real or not real?
Real. (Note long dark braid, and bow and arrow.)
Okay not real.
I wish.

I just finished Mockinjay and thought it was a brilliant end to the series.
Did you read it?
Did you love it?
Do you have Katniss archery skills?

(I told Kevin I want an archery set for Christmas. He thought I was joking....)

I LOVE that series. Mockingjay was my least favorite though. It ended how I wanted it to, kind of. Just wish they weren't so broken at the end. But still love it and recommened it to everyone.

Look at you go with your archery skills! I used to love archery although I am absolutely awful at it!

ha! I love it! I think it'd be so cool trying archery! I think I went once with my Girl Scout troop and it was fun, so it'd be so exciting to try it now!

I did like the end, it was how it should have been, but I didn't really enjoy reading it as much as the others I don't think. But the end was perfect, and the whole, real or nor real thing was just adorable! I love peeta. Always and forever.

I loved it. It was heartbreaking, but I loved it.

haha andy can help hook you up with a good archery set!
he knows allll about it.
& we have a HOUSE.
which is great, but there's 4 large rooms & yards to take care of.
definitely keeps us busy, but the space is nice.
the home improvement projects just might take forever!!

I've been reading HG this summer, and Mockingjay is coming in the mail this Thursday (my 4 year anniversary AND the final book in an amazing series?!...yesssss!)

The other night, I was saying my prayers (but I was pretty much half asleep), and I started praying for Katniss and Peeta. I'm sure Heavenly Father found it pretty amusing that I was praying for fictional characters; it's okay--He knows I was tired! ;)
