Imperfections

Someone asked me the other day if I married a perfect man - because that is how I portray him on my blog. I honestly laughed out loud.

When I told Kevin that, he immediately said, " Guess what? I have flaws. What are they? Oh I donno, I sing in the shower? Sometimes I spend too much time volunteering. Occasionally I'll hit somebody with my car. So sue me-- no, don't sue me. That is opposite the point I'm trying to make."

Please do yourself a favor and watch the clip here.

The point is, Kevin is not perfect, and our relationship is not perfect, and I would hate to become one of those bloggers who swoon about their perfect husbands all day. But I also think that blogging is public, so of course I am not going to flaunt Kevin's imperfections all over the internet either. (ahem: BYU football :)

Besides, having a perfect husband is so Edward Cullen. And I do not want him to be associated with Eddy.

p.s. another wedding picture was posted here. Full wedding day updates coming soon!

photos from our honeymoon.

first off- I don't have to watch the clip to know it's Michael Scott- hahah. I love that he was able to use a quote so perfectly.

second, the thing I always say is, "my husband isn't perfect, but he's perfect for me." I dated a perfect guy once and it was too much pressure on me to be perfect and I am far from it. I love that my husband has flaws (although I don't dwell on them and I agree, they shouldn't be flaunted all over the internet- focus on the positive!) because I do too!

Believe me,I'd take a flawed husband any day over Edward Cullen, ugh. Your husband's adorable, and it's the little quirks in people that make them interesting to begin with.

I replied back to you on my blog, but just wanted to say how obsessed I am with "What My Mother Doesn't Know." I'm planning on doing another quote post too, since isn't that book full of the most gorgeous ones?!!

Haha. Funny Kevin - or as Max would say Kevbot.

PS. That is a stunning wedding photo!

Haha. Edward Cullen. Agreed.

Agreed. Perfection is boring. Plus I'd hate to marry someone who is perfect. I'd be too jealous haha!

I'm impressed he could pull that quote out so fast.

I am terrible at being able to remember them and use them in conversation, it's something I've always envied.

Quoting on que is quite perfect haha!

Travis and I sing on que... we bust into perfect songs for our conversations all of the time!
