I have always loved the way silhouettes look in homes, and was particularly inspired by
Nicole's silhouettes in her bedroom. I bought the canvas boards at Hobby Lobby for $13 each. (Cheapest place ever possible to buy them.) Then, with Julie's help Kevin and I posed against the wall with an old fashioned lamp. It was harder than we thought it would be to match the silhouettes, and they are far from perfect, but I love the way they look in our bedroom.
It is so fun to see our apartment come along, piece by piece.

They look fabulous! I was actually looking at Nicole's blog this morning. Her home is so pretty isn't it? I applaud you for taking on a project like this; I get so intimidated by creating visual art.
