Favorite Things

Since I have been working around the clock like a mad woman, it is reassuring to surround myself with beautiful things. It calms me down, and helps me to realize that beauty is attainable in all aspects of our lives. These are a few things lately that are making me happy, making me feel beautiful, and getting me through this busy season.

Finding a matching vase to these at Jamali Gardens at a thrift store. Nothing better than a vintage, mirrored vase for $5.00

Monday nights are the best. My favorites are Chantel, Emily and Lisa. (Please can he pay more attention to Lisa? Even despite her frizzy hair.)

This paper is so beautiful, it belongs on a wall not a gift in my opinion. It is on its way to me, and I can't wait to put it in a vintage gold frame I found at a thrift store. It is the most beautiful print I have seen in a long time. I want to eat it.

This trench in black. My Valentines Gift to myself :)

The idea of Anthropologie's wedding line. Six months too late for me, but it is still exciting.Photobucket
Sonnets From The Portugese. One of my favorite wedding gifts.

Nothing too big, but all of these recent things encourage me, and make me happy.

What is making you happy? Please tell.

No no no no. Emily. Emily. Emily. And what's with the race car date next week?

I LOVE that trench. I love all the clearance sales right now too. JCrew - additional 40% off? I spent way too much of my paycheck this past week!

love the trench coat...and that you get yourself a valentines...why not? We should, it is the holiday to show love and who better to show love to than yourself?! what has made me happy today is watching Autumn play with a new toy we got her last night...it's a little piano and she loves it. It's so cute. She actually sings little notes here and there while playing it.

this is kinda strange, but I bought some shrimp cocktail at the grocery store b/c it was on sale and sounded really good, so that's what's making me happy :)

Oh man, Lisa is so GORGEOUS and seems so sweet and they hardly show her? What is with that, Mandy?! Maybe you could ask your new bff Gia!;-)

I'm loving my new blouse from gap and attending Peter Pan at BYU. I've decided to take more little breaks from my stresses, and it's been wonderful.

I love that print/wrapping paper as well. I want to see it when you have it up in your home!

I love that paper, it really is gorgeous. And the trench coat. You have great taste! Things that are making me happy this week: looking through the Fossil magazine, Charlie St. Cloud, brightly colored scarves, thick mens socks, and smoothies/protein shakes.
