Dr. V

Photobucket

Last night Kevin and I started writing his personal statement for med school applications. This is my dream assignment for three reasons:

1. The quality of his statement determines the interviews he gets. And once people meet him, he is kind of hard to turn down.
2. I get to write academically for the first time since graduation.
3. I get to brag about my husband. On paper. To strangers.

Kevin read it the first time and felt better about himself immediately. I think I am good for his ego. Then he read it a couple times and said things like, "Brilliant Mind?" "Horse-like work ethic?" and made me tone it down a little bit. (Even though in all reality, I think it is true.)

Love you future Dr. V.

The quote on the mug could only make of Mr. Collins from Pride and Prejudice. eee eee ee. I love that you think of that as a dream assignment. I think that I would have a lot of anxiety if I had to write something so important for Logan. I'm sure you did wonderful. haha love the parts he wants you to tone down. :)

Your post states that "Kevin and I" wrote the paper. However, after reading this post, I'm pretty sure I know who wrote it. :)

haha, I agree with Christa--It would stress me out a little. But you are the best at doing things like that so I'm sure he will get into some great places!! Mitch got into the U over the weekend. It would be so fun to live close to each other for so much longer! we need to do something soon.

Cute Mands. I'm excited for my big bro to be Dr. V too. I'd be interested in reading the letter if you wanna email it to me.

Horse like work ethic? Sounds like something dad would say. Keep it up, he'll get in for sure :)
